Getting to the Villa

Palazzo Prugnoli is situated right on the Tuscan / Umbrian border 40 minutes north of Perugia, and an hour and 30 minutes south of Bologna. The nearest real dot on the map is Citta Di Castello to the east of the villa. The best way to get to the villa from the UK is by Fly-Drive.

Flight To Tuscany and Umbria

The nearest airports to the villa are Perugia to the south, Florence to the east and and Bologna to the north. All are within a very bearable one and a half hours away with Perugia being the shortest transfer (around 40 minutes).

Driving to the Villa

Driving from Bologna (From North to South). Print Directions

From Bologna head south towards Rome. Take the E45 south all the way down to the first exit for Citta Di Castello.  Exit here and turn right towards Arezzo. Continue on this road, there are some sharp bends to the right and left. After about 5-10mins pass the Macri Country House on your left. You will come to a sign marked ‘Lerchi’ on your right. Immediately after this sign, take the next left turn to Monte Santa Maria Tiberina (sign posted). Follow the road until you come to a T-junction. Turn left towards Monte Santa Maria Tiberina (also sign posted). Go up the mountain road and at the crossroads (bar/agriturismo on the right 'Il Palazzetto del Monte') turn left towards Monte Santa Maria Tiberina. Driving from Perugia (From South to North) Print Directions

From Perugia Airport head for the E45 Northbound towards Cesena. Stay on the E45 for about 25 mins until you come to signs for Citta di Castello. Do not take the first Citta di Castello exit. Come off at the exit marked ‘Citta Di Castello Nord’. At the end of the slip road turn left towards Arezzo. Continue on this road, there are some sharp bends to the right and left. .After about 5-10mins pass the Macri Country House on your left. You will come to a sign marked ‘Lerchi’ on your right.
